It's been a while since my last blog post, but that's not because things are slowing down. In fact, the outdoor cooking action has been on fire. Literally!
We kicked off summer on Memorial Day weekend with a meal made completely on the Arteflame One Series 30" model. We cooked asparagus, shrimp skewers, burgers and bacon and not only were the results delicious, the cooking experience was awesome too! After building a fire in the center, the cooking surface was ready to cook on in minutes and each course was ready to eat in a matter of no time as well. We all gathered around the flame and making the meal became a fun group effort. Following dinner, we stoked the flames to make s'mores and then sat around the fire with friends, family and our favorite beverages. It made a special holiday weekend even more special and everybody is already asking when we can gather as a group to cook around it again.
The Arteflame truly has this unique ability to bring people together and it is also quite the conversation piece. If you are interested in "elevating the art of outdoor cooking" with Arteflame, contact me to learn about exclusive pricing I can offer through BW Outdoors. And if you aren't wanting to jump into the complete setup, ask me about the grill inserts that Arteflame offers for owners of Weber/kettle-style grills and kamado-style grills.
I've also been putting the Camp Chef Smoke Pro LUX to work making meals as well as lots of jerky. One of my favorite dinner menus included pork loin cooked two ways. I prepared one loin with my own BBQ seasoning & rub and the other with a pineapple teriyaki glaze. I used a new brand of apple pellets that I'm currently test marketing and after cooking them low and slow, the smoke rings and juicy flavors were out of this world.
Speaking of Camp Chef, they've been busy too developing new smoker grill models! Look for another blog post on their new SG Model (which combines the features of a smoker & gas grill) coming soon. In the meantime, I'm looking forward to a Father's Day celebrating all of these things I love with the people I love. Enjoy the weekend!
